Prvn\u00ed hudebn\u00ed vzd\u011bl\u00e1n\u00ed z\u00edskal od otce kantora, kter\u00fd p\u0159i\u0161el do Chocn\u011b ze K\u0159tin, ale nad\u00e1n\u00ed zcela jist\u011b zd\u011bdil i po d\u011bde\u010dkovi z mat\u010diny strany, skladateli a kantorovi Tom\u00e1\u0161i Norbertu Kautnikovi \/ Koutn\u00edkovi (1698\u20131775).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>V roce 1788 zam\u00ed\u0159il V\u00e1clav, stejn\u011b jako v\u011bt\u0161ina talentovan\u00fdch chlapc\u016f z Chocn\u011b, do piaristick\u00e9ho hudebn\u00edho semin\u00e1\u0159e v Krom\u011b\u0159\u00ed\u017ei, kde byl regentem jeho str\u00fdc P. Erasmus a Sancto Remigio \u2013 Franti\u0161ek Kautnik (1740\u20131804). Zde ve fundaci p\u016fsobil jako sopranista, hudebn\u011b se vzd\u011bl\u00e1val u sv\u00e9ho bratrance Erasma K\u00e4rstnisse v praxi \u010d\u00edslovan\u00e9ho basu a ve h\u0159e na housle u Gerta G\u00f6tze. V roce 1791 za\u010dal studovat pr\u00e1va na Univerzit\u011b v Praze, kde se soub\u011b\u017en\u011b v\u011bnoval studiu hry na klav\u00edr a violoncello. Byl \u017e\u00e1kem abb\u00e9 Josefa Jel\u00ednka (1758\u20131825), kter\u00fd ho jako mlad\u00e9ho pr\u00e1vn\u00edka doporu\u010dil hrab\u011bti Filipu Kinsk\u00e9mu, pro kter\u00e9ho v letech 1798\u20131800 pracoval jako \u00fa\u010detn\u00ed. Mat\u011bjka se v\u0161ak rozhodl pro dr\u00e1hu profesion\u00e1ln\u00edho hudebn\u00edka a ode\u0161el z Prahy do V\u00eddn\u011b, kde si ob\u017eivu nejprve zaji\u0161\u0165oval prac\u00ed v advok\u00e1tn\u00ed kancel\u00e1\u0159i Leopolda Hinterg\u00f6lpela a z\u00e1rove\u0148 se d\u00e1le vzd\u011bl\u00e1val ve skladb\u011b u Josepha Herzdenreicha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teprve v roce 1802 se ve V\u00eddni etabloval jako hudebn\u00edk natolik, \u017ee se u\u017eivil v\u00fdhradn\u011b v\u00fdukou hudby a pr\u00e1va mohl definitivn\u011b pov\u011bsit na h\u0159eb\u00edk. V t\u00e9to dob\u011b roz\u0161\u00ed\u0159il sv\u00e9 hr\u00e1\u010dsk\u00e9 dovednosti je\u0161t\u011b o violu d&#8217;amore a kytaru, kter\u00e1 se nakonec stala jeho nejobl\u00edben\u011bj\u0161\u00edm n\u00e1strojem. V roce 1805 za\u010dal pro tento n\u00e1stroj \u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u011b publikovat sv\u00e9 kompozice tiskem. Z dedikac\u00ed na tituln\u00edch listech se dozv\u00edd\u00e1me o Mat\u011bjkov\u00fdch spole\u010densk\u00fdch styc\u00edch s hudbymilovnou aristokraci\u00ed i s v\u00fdznamn\u00fdmi um\u011blci jako byli Mauro Giuliani, Franz Tandler, Raphael G. Kiesewetter a Alois Wolf. Kytarov\u00e9 skladby p\u0159estal Mat\u011bjka publikovat v roce 1817, kdy z\u00edskal m\u00edsto \u0159editele k\u016fru kostela sv. Leopolda. V roce 1820 mu byl nav\u00edc sv\u011b\u0159en je\u0161t\u011b k\u016fr kostela sv. Josefa. Ve V\u00eddni se o\u017eenil, ale z jeho \u0161esti d\u011bt\u00ed \u017e\u00e1dn\u00e9 nepokra\u010dovalo v rodinn\u00e9 kantorsk\u00e9 tradici.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u017divotopisn\u00e9 \u00fadaje, ze kter\u00fdch \u010derpaj\u00ed v\u0161ichni sou\u010dasn\u00ed badatel\u00e9, zapsal pro Geselschaft der Musikfreunde v roce 1826 Wilhelm Klingerbrunner patrn\u011b na z\u00e1klad\u011b informac\u00ed poskytnut\u00fdch samotn\u00fdm skladatelem. V\u00e1clav Tom\u00e1\u0161 Mat\u011bjka zem\u0159el ve V\u00eddni 19. ledna 1830 na rakovinu plic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u2014Tom\u00e1\u0161 Hanzl\u00edk<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"574\" src=\"http:\/\/festivalbaroko.cz\/2025\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/ilustrace2-1024x574.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-798\" srcset=\"https:\/\/festivalbaroko.cz\/2025\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/ilustrace2-1024x574.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/festivalbaroko.cz\/2025\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/ilustrace2-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/festivalbaroko.cz\/2025\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/ilustrace2-768x430.jpg 768w, https:\/\/festivalbaroko.cz\/2025\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/ilustrace2.jpg 1456w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mat\u011bjka kytaristou<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Na po\u010d\u00e1tku 19. stolet\u00ed p\u0159itahovala V\u00edde\u0148 mocn\u011b hudebn\u00edky z cel\u00e9ho c\u00edsa\u0159stv\u00ed, n\u011bmeck\u00fdch zem\u00ed i z It\u00e1lie. Dle dobov\u00e9ho tisku se ve v\u00edde\u0148sk\u00fdch domech stalo p\u0159ehr\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed nejnov\u011bj\u0161\u00edch son\u00e1t a kvartet\u016f \u010dast\u011bj\u0161\u00ed z\u00e1bavou ne\u017e hra v karty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0160estistrunn\u00e1 kytara v dne\u0161n\u00edm lad\u011bn\u00ed byla tou dobou, kdy Mat\u011bjka p\u0159icestoval do V\u00eddn\u011b, vlastn\u011b nov\u00fdm n\u00e1strojem. Simon Molitor (houslista, kytarista a znalec hudebn\u00ed historie) ve sv\u00e9 kytarov\u00e9 \u0161kole z roku 1812 p\u00ed\u0161e, \u017ee v Rakousku a N\u011bmecku byla je\u0161t\u011b p\u0159ed 20 lety hra na kytaru prakticky nezn\u00e1m\u00e1. To se rychle zm\u011bnilo a kytara se st\u00e1v\u00e1 m\u00f3dn\u00edm n\u00e1strojem. Jen ve V\u00eddni vych\u00e1zej\u00ed mezi lety 1807 a\u017e 1808 tiskem dv\u011b a\u017e t\u0159i nov\u00e9 kytarov\u00e9 edice t\u00fddn\u011b. Sv\u00fdm pobytem a koncerty ve V\u00eddni (1806\u20131819) tuto &#8220;kytarom\u00e1nii&#8221; notn\u011b p\u0159i\u017eivoval italsk\u00fd virtuos kytarista Mauro Giuliani. Mat\u011bjka v\u0161ak, zd\u00e1 se, jako kytarista ve\u0159ejn\u011b nevystupoval, alespo\u0148 o tom nem\u00e1me \u017e\u00e1dnou zm\u00ednku. Je mo\u017en\u00e9, \u017ee se pod\u00edlel na hudebn\u00edch produkc\u00edch v soukrom\u00fdch domech p\u0159i obl\u00edben\u00fdch &#8220;Privat-Akademien&#8221;, ale jeho hlavn\u00ed \u010dinnost\u00ed bylo jist\u011b vyu\u010dov\u00e1n\u00ed hry na kytaru a klav\u00edr, jak \u010dasto uv\u00e1d\u011bl na tituln\u00edch stran\u00e1ch vyd\u00e1n\u00ed sv\u00fdch skladeb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mat\u011bjk\u016fv styl psan\u00ed pro kytaru byl ji\u017e tenkr\u00e1t znalci a kolegy oce\u0148ov\u00e1n. V notaci sv\u00fdch kytarov\u00fdch skladeb Mat\u011bjka rozli\u0161uje jednotliv\u00e9 hlasy, n\u011bkdy dosti samostatn\u011b veden\u00e9, vypisuje vedle technick\u00fdch pokyn\u016f pro hr\u00e1\u010de jako jsou prstoklady, tak\u00e9 dynamiku, tempov\u00e9 zm\u011bny, fr\u00e1zov\u00e1n\u00ed. To nebylo na za\u010d\u00e1tku 19. stolet\u00ed zdaleka b\u011b\u017en\u00e9 \u2013 kytarov\u00e1 hudba se notovala zjednodu\u0161en\u00fdm z\u00e1pisem. Pochopiteln\u011b, Mat\u011bjka musel takto ps\u00e1t, od kytaristy cht\u011bl sly\u0161et stejn\u011b propracovanou hudbu jako t\u0159eba od klav\u00edristy. Neomezoval se jen na p\u00e1r efektn\u00edch a nejoposlouchan\u011bj\u0161\u00edch kytarov\u00fdch t\u00f3nin, kter\u00e9 maj\u00ed tu v\u00fdhodu, \u017ee lze melodii jednodu\u0161e doprov\u00e1zet na &#8220;pr\u00e1zdn\u00fdch&#8221; basov\u00fdch strun\u00e1ch tak, jak to, asi i z d\u016fvodu snadn\u00e9 prodejnosti takov\u00fdch skladeb, d\u011blala v\u011bt\u0161ina kytarist\u016f. Co se t\u00fd\u010de forem skladeb, s oblibou komponoval pro s\u00f3lovou kytaru t\u0159\u00edv\u011bt\u00e9 son\u00e1ty, co\u017e je forma v p\u0159\u00edpad\u011b kytary kupodivu sp\u00ed\u0161e vz\u00e1cn\u00e1. Variace, je\u017e byly naopak nejobl\u00edben\u011bj\u0161\u00ed formou mezi tehdej\u0161\u00edmi kytaristy, Mat\u011bjku tak\u00e9 zaj\u00edmaly, ale jeho p\u0159\u00edstup nebyl tuctov\u00fd. M\u00edsto obvykl\u00e9 man\u00fdry: &#8220;t\u00e9ma, variace v osmin\u00e1ch, variace v triol\u00e1ch, pomal\u00e1 &#8220;smutn\u00e1&#8221; variace v moll a nakonec pro dobrou n\u00e1ladu variace v \u0161estn\u00e1ctin\u00e1ch&#8221;, vol\u00ed \u010dasto pro ka\u017edou variaci origin\u00e1ln\u00ed stylizaci (mnohdy tane\u010dn\u00ed, nap\u0159.: Hannaca z op. 20\/IV), m\u011bn\u00ed t\u00f3niny a metrum. N\u011bkter\u00e9 z jednotliv\u00fdch variac\u00ed op. 27 kup\u0159\u00edkladu maj\u00ed dle nadpis\u016f zvukomalebn\u011b imitovat cimb\u00e1l \u010di lesn\u00ed rohy. Op. 5 jsou variace na \u010deskou p\u00edsni\u010dku &#8220;J\u00e1 m\u00e1m chaloupku&#8221;. Prvn\u00edm novodob\u00fdm &#8220;objevitel\u016fm&#8221; Mat\u011bjkova d\u00edla na za\u010d\u00e1tku 20. stolet\u00ed p\u0159ipadalo nevkusn\u00e9, v kytarov\u00e9 literatu\u0159e ojedin\u011bl\u00e9, pou\u017eit\u00ed me\u0161n\u00ed p\u00edsn\u011b (op. 6) jako t\u00e9matu k variac\u00edm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mat\u011bjkovy skladby pro kytaru se mnohdy nehraj\u00ed jednodu\u0161e a nep\u016fsob\u00ed v\u011bt\u0161inou efektn\u00edm virtuozn\u00edm dojmem, kter\u00fd naopak zd\u016fraz\u0148ovaly kompozice italsk\u00fdch kytarist\u016f pln\u00e9 brilantn\u00edch pas\u00e1\u017e\u00ed a rychl\u00fdch arpeggi\u00ed, jdouc\u00edmi ale dob\u0159e &#8220;do ruky&#8221;. Tyto prvky Mat\u011bjka tak\u00e9 um\u011bl do skladeb vn\u00e9st, ale zaj\u00edmav\u011bj\u0161\u00ed je detail jeho rytmick\u00e9 a harmonick\u00e9 pr\u00e1ce. Mat\u011bjka n\u00e1padit\u011b pracuje s t\u00e9matem (i polyfonicky), po v\u00edde\u0148sku p\u0159eskupuje akcenty, pohr\u00e1v\u00e1 si se zm\u011bnami metra, ne\u010dekan\u00fdmi &#8220;gener\u00e1lpauzami&#8221; a dynamick\u00fdmi kontrasty. Nemohlo b\u00fdt jednoduch\u00e9 prod\u00e1vat tisky takov\u00e9to hudby typick\u00e9mu by\u0165 i pokro\u010dilej\u0161\u00edmu adeptu kytarov\u00e9 hry. Mat\u011bjka publikoval u zn\u00e1m\u00fdch v\u00edde\u0148sk\u00fdch nakladatel\u016f, ale asi i z d\u016fvodu jist\u00e9 nechuti pod\u0159\u00eddit se po\u017eadavku trhu na snadnou hratelnost vyd\u00e1val n\u011bkter\u00e9 skladby vlastn\u00edm n\u00e1kladem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2014<em>Jan Tul\u00e1\u010dek<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator
